A graduate from Northern Vermont University with a degree in Electronic Journalism, Haley has been working in the media industry ever since. Her journey all began in a college newsroom that broadcasted to over 9 thousand homes in northern Vermont. There, she was able to learn about everything news related that ranged from reporting, video journalism, editing, broadcasting, producing, web producing and more. Although Haley enjoyed her time learning about electronic journalism, she immediately knew the broadcasting side of the industry was not for her, and made the decision to dive into the world of online media.

 

Haley's career in publishing began in September of 2017, when she got offered a job for an online college magazine called Society19. Haley's position began as a fashion and beauty editor/writer, and eventually morphed into a more diverse role where she took on tasks such as hiring, community management, social media, e-mail marketing, client services, and more. Not only has Haley grown in the world of editing and writing, but she has gained knowledge on the marketing front as well, working with big-name brands such as Lenovo, Samsung, Necessary Clothing, Good American and more. As a young professional who has been in the “real world” for just over a year, Haley is always open to hearing about exciting new opportunities and making connections.
